it seems

like this year is not starting out so well. January saw both my parents in the ER for various reasons. With them finally getting out from underneath all their follow up visits, they literally took off and drove to Florida to visit a few long time friends. One is healthy, the other in in the process of getting chemo and radiation. So they visited the healthy friend first, and my father ends up in the hospital this morning with pneumonia in both lungs! This is not good. But he is happy with the care he is receiving, and mom is staying with him tonight in his private room. We are standing at the ready to fly down there to drive them back if need be. It really sucks when you have a sick parent so far away.
